Sinningia leucotricha ‘Brazilian Edelweiss’ is a unique caudiciform (tuberous) houseplant known for its thick caudex and soft, silver-white fuzzy leaves during the growing season.
Please note that this is a tuber-based plant.
Due to its natural growth cycle and the stress of transport, some or all leaves may drop during shipping.
This is completely normal and does not indicate a problem with the plant.
Each plant is carefully inspected before dispatch, and we guarantee the caudex/tuber is healthy. With the right conditions, new growth will emerge from the caudex when the plant is ready.

Basic Care Information
Light:
Bright, indirect light is ideal. Gentle morning sun is fine; avoid strong midday sun.
Water:
Water lightly during active growth, allowing the soil to partially dry between watering.
When leafless or dormant, water very sparingly.
Soil:
Use a free-draining soil mix suitable for caudiciform or cactus-type plants.
Temperature:
Prefers warm conditions. Must be protected from frost.
Important Note:
Leaf loss is part of the plant’s natural behaviour. The caudex stores energy and will regrow leaves under suitable conditions.
