Delivery Timescales

We dispatch all orders using a fully tracked express UK delivery service, utilizing a selection of trusted couriers, including Royal Mail, Evri, and DPD. Orders are typically processed and shipped within 1-3 working days (Monday-Thursday), with over 90% dispatched within 2 working days. Whenever possible, items are sent on a 1-2 day delivery service for swift arrival.

Order Dispatch Information

Orders are dispatched Monday through Thursday to ensure live plant packages arrive before the weekend, minimizing potential transit delays. Please be aware that orders placed after 12 noon on Thursday will be shipped on the next available dispatch date, unless otherwise arranged.

In some cases, items are sourced directly from growers and may take 1-2 weeks to arrive. This allows us to meet the specific care needs of your plant, ensuring it receives the best attention until it reaches you.

We appreciate your understanding regarding dispatch times. Plants are sensitive, and to maintain their health, we may delay shipping due to unsuitable weather conditions. To protect plant quality, we also reserve the right to avoid shipping over the weekend if conditions are unfavorable.

If certain items in your order aren’t immediately available, we’ll wait to ship everything together to reduce our carbon footprint. If you prefer to receive part of your order sooner, please contact us; additional shipping fees may apply for split deliveries.

 

Expected Delivery Timeframes

Please Note: We dispatch orders only Monday through Thursday to avoid weekend delays in courier storage, prioritizing your plants' condition. An exception may be made during peak times, such as Black Friday, with extended courier availability.


Delivery Instructions

During checkout, you can provide specific delivery instructions for the courier, including a designated “safe place” if you won’t be available to receive the package. If left unattended at your request, please note that any risk of loss or weather-related damage is assumed by the buyer.


Accurate Delivery Information

Please double-check your delivery information before finalizing your order. We cannot be responsible for undeliverable shipments due to incorrect addresses. Orders returned in resalable condition may be eligible for reshipment, but an additional shipping charge will apply.


Delivery Charges

For all UK Mainland orders, a flat-rate delivery charge of £3.50 applies for orders under £20. Orders over £20 qualify for free delivery when shipped as a single parcel.


Delivery Areas

We are a UK-based plant company delivering houseplants across the UK Mainland.

Special Delivery Areas (Offshore, Scottish Highlands & Northern Ireland)

Currently, we do not deliver to these regions, nor to PO BOXES or BFPO addresses.


Returns Policy

Each plant we deliver undergoes professional care and quality control by both the grower and us to ensure it arrives in peak condition. Minor leaf loss during transit is normal for healthy plants.

If your plant arrives significantly damaged, please contact us at info@chic-chic.co, and we will work with you to resolve the issue.


Damaged Plants and Refunds

If your plant arrives damaged beyond recovery, email us immediately at info@chic-chic.co with photos of the plant upon arrival (before any repotting or pruning). This helps us understand its condition and decide on the best course of action, which may include a replacement, partial refund, or full refund.

Please note that returns for reasons other than damage are not accepted, as legal cancellation rights for “change of mind” do not apply to perishable goods like plants.


Plant Size and Variation

Please understand that plant sizes are approximate due to their unique growth patterns, and some natural variation in size and shape is expected. Plant heights include the brown pot as part of the measurement. We strive to ensure each plant meets or exceeds the minimum listed size on the product page.
